Ascend was a capstone project of the Columbia College Chicago IAM (Interactive Arts and Media) department - the full creation of a playable video game with a mobile component. It was a desert adventure/puzzle game that took place in an Assyrian fantasy setting. Within this project, I was tasked with initial concept, modeling, texturing, rigging, animating. Although not all of my content was used in the game's final build, many of my assets are shown below:
*Many of the concept illustrations were color rendered in speed sessions - created within the margins of 30-45 minute intervals from their original pencil/paper sketches. They are largely kept in their original format to demonstrate the efficiency and speed of idea conception.
(This was the earliest game concept - back when the game took place in the Cambodian jungle instead of the desert-based game it later became).
